If your profession is not currently listed, you can request the addition of your profession during the registration process. This profession will be checked to ensure that it is a registered healthcare profession with a recognised statutory body. If it is, it will be added to Therapists Africa.

  • If free voucher codes are available, they will provide a free one-year registration.
  • Registration fees are for a period of 1 year from date of registration.
  • You can pause your profile at any time for a period of up to 2 years. If your profile expires during this time, you will be taken to the payment page when you sign in.
  • You have full control of all your data and changes can only be made by you in you personalised admin page.
  • Fees may change in the future.

Every healthcare provider on Therapists Africa is required to register an individual profile as a Healthcare Practitioner. This gives you access to your own individualised admin profile where you can edit your information.

Additional features available include the following:
  • Become part of the directory listing and search feature for healthcare providers
  • Personalised URL to use for advertising yourself
  • Personalised QR code to use for sharing your profile or on business cards etc.
  • Access to MDM’s for meetings with other healthcare providers
  • Easily add events, talks, classifieds etc from within your own profile
  • Easily link your profile to other registration categories
A practice profile is created by the owner of the practice. When creating a practice profile, voucher codes are issued for individual healthcare providers to use when registering a profile. The registration for members of a practice is therefore paid for by the practice. Individual healthcare providers can join a practice by linking their profile to a practice during their registration. Practice members pay with a voucher code.

Package
If a school has healthcare workers working at the school, they can register their school on our site. The purpose of this is to inform the public of healthcare support in a school environment and to provide awareness of facilities on offer related to healthcare.
Supplementary members are any healthcare providers who work for an organisation but who do not provide services outside the organisation. They would therefore not require their own listing in the directory and are only visible on the listing of the organisation that they work for.

Supplementary members pay with a voucher code and select the supplementary member package when completing a healthcare provider registration.

Supplementary members also receive their own admin profile and can change their registration type to a full member at any point.
Organisations with more than 5 locations can request a discounted rate. Voucher codes are then issued to use for registrations.

MDM’s are available to all registered healthcare providers on our site (excluding supplementary members). They are a secure online case discussion meeting place that any registered member can set up to discuss a medical query. Members in all African countries can collaborate together in this meeting space.
Any company working in the healthcare industry can advertise on Therapists Africa. Products or services advertised must be related to healthcare.

Our adverts have a dedicated area called the Community Centre. Adverts related to a search request will also appear in the tabs in the Search for Help section.
The Therapists Africa Foundation is our charitable wing. Through the foundation, we connect healthcare providers volunteering their services from Therapists Africa to charities requiring healthcare providers.

TAF is also about making charities in Africa available in one place so that you can donate to multiple charities simultaneously. Charities can request additional items such as medical packs or food packs in our shop that can then be purchased by users.

Volunteer opportunities across Africa are also listed on TAF.
